Blister Packaging

Tarsal Pharmaceuticals can supply blisters for the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries. These blisters can be physician sample packs, patient compliance packaging, clinical trial materials or hospital unit dose packs. Our blister packaging equipment manufactures both thermoformed and cold-formed blisters.

We can packaging a variety of products such as tablets, capsules, caplets, soft/liquid gels or gel capsules.

We can supply a wide range of blister materials including;
    • PVC/Aluminum
    • PVDC/Aluminum
    • Aclar®/Aluminum
    • Aluminum/Aluminum

Blisters can be placed into folded cartons or shrink wrapped and placed in trays. Blister cartons or trays can be case packed.

The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) mandates that serialization be in place by November 2017 and unit level traceability by 2023. At Tarsal Pharmaceuticals we are fully qualified for unit sale and aggregation serialization.

All of our equipment has serialization integrated into the process. Printing processes have vision systems for verification either on the unit sale or case or pallet.
